How to deposit via Firepay

What is Firepay?

            Firepay is a web-based account that works like a debit card.  You deposit money into your Firepay account and then use that account to purchase goods and services online.  There is no charge to sign up, pay with, or send funds from your account.  Firepay will only charge a small fee when you make a deposit from your bank account into your Firepay account.  The amount of the fee will be clearly displayed on the deposit page at the time of your deposit.  Deposits are instant, direct from your bank account and in real time.  Withdrawals are free and payout amounts are unlimited.

How to set up a Firepay account…

Go to www.firepay.com

1. Click on OPEN A FREE ACCOUNT
2. Enter your personal information (first name, last name, address, city, state, country, zip/postal code)





3. Enter your contact information (email address, phone number)



4. Choose your password and re-type it to confirm



5. For security purposes enter a secret question and secret answer that only you would know.  Should you lose your information Firepay will ask you to confirm this answer before releasing it to you
6. Make sure to check off the box that indicates you have read the terms and conditions of use



7. Click NEXT
8. Once you have confirmed your information, Firepay immediately sends you an email to the email address you provided.  That email contains a unique access code.  You must retrieve that code and enter it in the area labeled FIREPAY ACCESS CODE



9. Click NEXT
10. You must then register a bank account
11. Enter your bank name
12. Enter your routing number (US registrants) or your transit number (Canadian registrants)
13. Enter your bank account number
14. Enter your social security number (US registrants) or your social insurance number (Canadian registrants)



15. Click NEXT
16. Based on your social security number (social insurance number for Canadian registrants), Firepay will present you with a series of questions generated from your public record information.  You must answer these questions correctly and in a timely manner to confirm your identity.  This process is required only once.



17. Before you can make a deposit, you must confirm that you're phone number is valid by calling 1-877-FIREPAY .  Please make sure your caller ID is not blocked.  You can ensure this by pressing *82 before dialing.  Once your number is confirmed you will be able to make a deposit immediately.
18. Now you can immediately deposit funds into your Firepay account by entering a deposit amount.  Firepay will also make a small random deposit into your bank account.  This deposit should take between 1-3 business days to appear in your account.  Once you've received this deposit, please confirm the amount by calling it in to Firepay at 1-877-FIREPAY.  Once confirmed, your deposit fees are lowered to $3.99 USD, you gain increased deposit limits and you can withdraw funds back to your bank account.



19. You may now use these funds at any merchant that accepts Firepay as a payment method.  It is strongly recommended that you print the following page for your records.  Your Firepay account number and expiry date are required each time you use Firepay.

Depositing Funds into New York Poker.com using Firepay as your Deposit Method…

Go to www.newyorkpoker.com

1. Click on CASHIER in the top navigation strip

   

2. A new window will pop up,  for security purposes you'll be prompted to re-enter your username and password at the top of this window

  

3. Once you've re-entered your username and password click on MAKE A DEPOSIT

  

6. Click on Firepay as your deposit method

  

7. Enter the desired deposit amount, your account number and expiry date. Click CONTINUE

  

8. Once your funds have cleared you must transfer the newly deposited funds from your cashier account to your poker account before playing poker.  To do so, please scroll down to section labeled “Transferring funds from your cashier account into your poker account”

Transferring funds from your cashier account into your poker account…

1. In the MY ACCOUNT tab in the cashier section, click on TRANSFER FUNDS

  

2. Please input the desired cash amount to be transferred in the CASHIER ACCOUNT box

  

3. Click the drop down menu in the TRANSFER TO section and select the POKER ACCOUNT option
4. Then click the TRANSFER button to successfully transfer funds to your poker account and close this window
5. Click the CLICK TO PLAY button on the left side of your main screen and START PLAYING!
